Highline Car Care
As a consumer, you are always looking for a good deal. Whether it’s a weekend sale or a discount for buying multiples of an item, you want to save money wherever you can. After all, why pay an extra $10 for an item when you can give the cashier a coupon and save those $10.
When it comes to shopping, it’s smart to look for a bargain. The same can be said about getting work done on your vehicle. You may be the kind of person that calls multiple shops and gets quotes on the work you need to get done on your vehicle. You do this because you want to make sure you get a good deal.
For that reason, at Highline, we strive to provide all our customers with competitive prices. We hope that is one of the reasons you keep coming back.
Working With Quality Parts
Another reason you may be coming back is because of the quality of our work. You know that when you come into the shop your vehicle is in good hands. You know that there are trained technicians working on your vehicle and only the highest quality parts are going into your vehicle.
A question that often comes up is what brand of parts do we use in our repairs and replacements? As a value conscious consumer, you want quality parts at a quality price.
At Highline we look at what will work for your vehicle, and we always consider quality first and foremost. When your vehicle leaves the shop, you can rest assured knowing that we used the correct parts for your vehicle and they are quality brands. We’ll walk you through your work order and show you exactly what we worked on. If you want to know the exact parts used, we are more than happy to share that with you.
Why We Do Not Install Customer Supplied Parts
There are some cases when we get a customer who wants to bring their own parts in an effort to save even more money. There are a handful of reasons we have made this decision to not use those parts.
First and foremost, we cannot warranty our repair if we do not supply the parts. The parts we work with have been tested and we are familiar with how they work.
Second, we have no control over the quality of parts you may supply. If using a part we are not familiar with it may not always possible to determine if a part is defective until it is installed in a car and driven for awhile. This can cause delays and frustration for both of us.
Lastly, our business model requires that we sell parts as well as labor to be sustainable. You would like us to be here to service your vehicle for years to come, right?
It’s easy to go to Amazon and buy your own parts, perhaps at a lower price. But as we mentioned here, it does come at a price. And that’s a price we are not willing to take.
In the long run, you will be better off trusting the experts to get the correct parts and know that they are covered under warranty. Although you may be paying a few more dollars, you can be at rest knowing your vehicle is in good hands. And that’s something worth paying for.
